Candida auris is an emerging fungus that presents a serious global health threat. Healthcare facilities in several countries have reported that C. auris has caused severe illness in hospitalized patients. Some strains of Candida auris are resistant to all three major classes of antifungal drugs. This type of multidrug resistance has not been seen before in other species of Candida. Since 2009, C. auris has been found in patients in several countries, including the United States. CDC expects that as scientists continue to look for this fungus, more cases will be reported in the United States.
C. auris is difficult to identify with standard laboratory methods and can be misidentified in labs without specific technology. CDC encourages all U.S. laboratory staff who identify C. auris strains to notify their state or local public health authorities and CDC at candidaauris@cdc.gov. 米国の患者は13人、4人死亡、死因未定。
日本では、2009年、患者の外耳道の分泌液から世界で初めて分離。
英国、コロンビア、インド、イスラエル、ケニア、クウェート、パキスタン、南アフリカ、韓国、ベネズエラで罹患。
カンジダ菌は、皮膚、口の中、消化管、腟の常在菌。
発症理由として、風邪、疲労、ストレス等、免疫力の低下、ホルモンの変化が挙げられ、腟カンジダは、腟でカンジダ菌が増殖、発症します。
女性の5分の1が経験する女性特有の病気。
カンジダ菌は、真菌の一種だというが、真菌がどういうカビなのか、調ベようとしても、資料が見当たらない。
カンジダ菌の形状を見ても、何処にでもある、極めて抽象的で、掴みどころがないが、餅に着くカビによく似ていると思う。
餅は、生命のない物で、カンジダ菌は、ヒトの死体の腟や口中で繁殖はしない。
免疫力の低下、ホルモンの変化が原因で、腟カンジダを発症すると言われている。
免疫力の低下、ホルモンの変化は、言うなれば、生と言うより、死に向かう生体反応である、が、死そのものではない。
人体が衰弱した時に、カンジダ菌は繁殖すると、考えられている。
人間の口中について考えてみましょう。
歯、舌、唾液が、常時、外界からの異物の侵入を阻止します。
私は、ヒトというものは、実によく出来た神の相似形のようなものだと考えます。
あらゆるものに冒され、あらゆるものを受け入れ、それでもヒトであると強く主張するものであると。
死が訪れるまで、皆揃って健康であると。
要するに、CDC、WHO・・どの機関をとっても、病気の詳しい説明が出来ません。
それは、病気の全てが、アメリカ製で、日本はそれに追随しているだけだからです。
